The Gibbon Experience funds a team of dedicated forest guards. This team reports directly to the provincial forestry authorities (PAFO / DAFO). Its role is to daily enforce the Forestry Law on field. They are entitled to control identity, confiscate weapons, fine offenders and take them to the police.
Composed of members from various tribal groups, they patrol throughout the Bokeo Nature Reserve to prevent poaching and logging activities. Moreover, they track wildlife evidence to better understand migrations and update the Reserve inventory.
