People living in the forest are the first ones to suffer from its destruction. They are also the first ones to benefit from its preservation. Since the early days, our ambition has been to showcase an example of locally managed forest that provides its inhabitants with steady, sustainable resources.
Engaging the local population in a less destructive use of the forest is the only way to make conservation work in the long run. Our treehouse-based forest preservation project is an innovative way to foster the villages’ economy while respecting local knowledge and traditions.
